Isolde Standish
Isolde Standish lectures in Film and Media and is Director of Studies for the Cinemas of Asia and Africa M.A. Degree in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her publications include work on Korean cinema, A New History of Japanese Cinema (2005) and Myth and Masculinity in the Japanese Cinema (2000). She is currently examining the relationship between cinema and nation.
