Prospective Authors
Submissions from scholars working in all oral traditions and related forms are strongly encouraged and very welcome. By presenting articles from an international constituency across all geographical areas, disciplines, and chronological periods, we hope to stimulate as diverse and open an exchange as possible.
Please email submissions in electronic form (.doc, .docx, .rtf, or .pages) to . Please do not submit PDFs. Manuscripts will be reviewed by a specialist reader and a generalist reader before a decision is reached, usually within 90 days of receipt. Upon acceptance, the following additional materials will be required: abstract; brief author biography; individual file for each embedded or supporting media item (photographs, charts, graphs, audio recordings, or video recordings) in the highest available resolution; caption for each media item; and attribution for each media item.
